Need a safe way for your child to get in and out of their bed during those summer camping trips? This sturdy bunk bed ladder hooks onto the side of their bed so they can quickly and carefully climb up when it's time to go to sleep. Because it has durable aluminum construction and smooth, satin anodized finish, it won't rust if the kids accidentally spill a drink.
The stepping areas are ribbed to give your child's feet some traction while they're climbing the ladder. If your kids forget to take their shoes off, they also help trap mud and debris onto the ladder so that their sheets won't get quite as dirty. And unlike other ladders that have sharp metal steps, the steps on this ladder are wrapped with nylon padding that will be comfortable and soft on your child's bare feet.
This ladder has a universal design because you're able to cut it to fit most RV bunk beds. Simply remove the rubberized feet and use a cutter or hacksaw (not included) to trim the ladder so it's a perfect fit. Then re-install the rubber feet, which prevent the ladder from shifting around while your child climbs.
You can use the integrated hooks to easily position the ladder anywhere you want along the rail of your bunk bed, so you won't need to do any drilling. In the morning, you'll be able to remove the lightweight ladder and carry it to storage. It's compact enough that you can tuck it away into a smaller closet or into one of the bunk beds during the day to clear up more space to walk through the RV.

Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Surco RV Bunk Ladder. This is a 66-inch tall ladder that's gonna make it much easier for you to get into and out of your RV's bunk. This is going to have these one-inch wide hooks at the top that will allow you to hook around the lip on your motor home's bunk so that you have a nice, stable connection there. You can easily position this anywhere along the bunk rail so that you have maximum adjustability.
It is very lightweight due to its aluminum construction, so it's gonna be very easy to move around, but it is a heavy-gauge aluminum construction, so it is gonna give us a max weight capacity of around 250 pounds. So, as long as you're using it at the right angle, as a ladder, not as a ramp or as a bridge, this will give you 250 pounds capacity. Now, I'm a little bit over that myself, so I'm not gonna demonstrate climbing up on this, but each of our rungs does have this ribbed nylon padding that's going to give us a little bit of grip as we're making our way up, and it's also gonna be very comfortable to step on, even with bare feet. And on the bottom of the ladder, we do have these padded feet that are going to provide a nice non-slip connection to the ground. We're not gonna have to worry about it scratching up the floor or anything like that.
And because this does have aluminum construction, it is gonna be very durable and rustproof. It's got a smooth, satin anodized finish to it, so it looks really nice. It will be a great addition to your RV. And it is made here in the USA, so you can trust it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US. So, if you have been having a difficult time getting up into your bunk, this is gonna be exactly what you need.
That completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
